The Apostle’s Creed

"I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth; "And in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; He descended into hell; On the third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven, and sitteth at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; "I believe in the Holy Ghost, the holy catholic Church, the communion of saints, from where He shall come to judge the living and the dead, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.”"

THREE OBSERVATIONS

1. If you believe in something, you join it.

“holy catholic church” = the universal church.

“the communion of the saints” = the local church.

2. If you believe in something, you share it.

1+1+1 = one month to invite one special person to one special day here at Great Plains.

Memory verse: Psalm 122:1 “I was glad when they said to me, let us go to the house of the Lord.”

  • Invite them with gladness.
  • Invite them to come with you.
  • Invite them to see what God is doing in our church.

3. If you believe in something you support it.
